Lauren Grummert is a business-savvy tech nerd who wears many hats. Lauren is a Lead Data Scientist Educator Curriculum Designer for Chegg and the Lead Machine Learning Engineer for smartQED, both located in Silicon Valley. She earned her MA in the Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences from Columbia University and a BA in Economics from Spelman College.

Due to the remote nature of her work, she also makes time to run The Confident Boss, a company dedicated to helping women entrepreneurs move from ideation to launch. As a former Google Product Quality Strategist, Lauren knows the systems required to take a moonshot idea from infancy to maturation - while maintaining a high level of quality expected from top corporations. Following The Confident Boss Success Framework, Lauren coaches her clients to create and follow a system that provides less stress and more success. The Confident Boss runs on the idea that successful businesses have an online presence with clear messaging and call to actions, pre-planned quarterly business strategies, and a highly-effective and tested launch strategy.

As a former Data Science mentor to women and men who need a new skillset to enter tech and a current Business Strategist for women entrepreneurs, it is clear that Lauren chooses to make an impact in the world by changing lives one career at a time.
